Requirements and scope
Do I need the spec?
Yes — the Division 23 closeout/warranty sections or the GC's closeout checklist. Don't have it? Your GC or architect does; ask for 'the closeout requirements.'
What projects qualify?
Commercial HVAC and mechanical packages. One project, one contractor package.
How the review is performed
Is a person involved?
AI does the first pass and cites every page. A person checks every report before it's released, and anything the AI can't resolve goes to a human reviewer.
Does a clean report mean the GC will accept it?
It means your paperwork matches your spec on every line we checked. We check paper, not pipes — acceptance is still the GC's/owner's call.
What happens to files we cannot read?
Scanned files go through OCR. Anything still unreadable or ambiguous is reported as Couldn't confirm, with the file and page named. Uncertain items are never silently passed.
Will the report tell me which document is correct?
Not always. Where two documents disagree, the finding shows both excerpts and asks you to confirm which is current. That is reported as a clarification item rather than an issue.

How are my files handled?
Uploaded files go to private storage limited to your organization and Closeout Signal reviewers.
Can I sign in or upload files today?
Yes, during the pilot: sign in with an email link or Google, create a draft and upload PDFs. A review starts only after we confirm scope and a complimentary pilot slot.
What does the pilot cost?
Nothing. 5 slots. $395/project after.
